About the Job
Childrens Hospital Of The Kings Daughter is seeking a skilled Nursing Professional to join our team on a dedicated night shift between 7:00PM and 7:00AM. This position requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, provide, and monitor individualized nursing care in response to specific patient needs within a defined scope of practice.
- Provide developmentally appropriate psychosocial and clinical care respective to the assigned patient population.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with all members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have an Associate's in Nursing/Diploma in Nursing with applicable experience. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred. Additionally, you should possess current Virginia state licensure as a Registered Nurse or a valid Compact State license. RN certification is also desirable.
Working Conditions
This role involves working in a patient care environment with minimal exposure to environmental hazards. You can expect to work in moderately adverse conditions due to the need to perform certain patient care activities. Regular training on CPR techniques will be provided or expected within 45 days of hire.
Estimated Salary:$84,000 per year (estimated based on national averages for RN positions in the United States)
