Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver profitable SALT services to our clients, utilizing firm and client resources effectively.
- Provide timely, high-quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations, with tax advice and consultation that enables clients to increase shareholder value.
- Manage tax assignments and related projects, with a focus on state income and franchise taxes, as well as regular exposure to sales and use taxes, gross receipts taxes, employment taxes, credits, and incentives.
- Research and resolve technical state and local tax issues, preparing technical memoranda, matrices, and other client deliverables.
- Plan and coordinate the flow of information with the client, reviewing work papers and state tax returns, and participating in the billing and collection process.
- Recognize opportunities for providing additional services to clients, marketing technical specialty or expertise to clients.
Basic Qualifications:
- CPA, CMI, JD, or LLM required.
- BS Degree in Accounting.
- 5+ years of current or recent experience in public accounting or corporate tax department.
- Familiarity with researching state tax laws and regulations.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Tax compliance experience/background a plus.

The salary range for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions, including education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc.
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
Compensation Range:
$97,200 - $183,700
