Our 37-bed adult med-surg unit specializes in managing chronic ventilator patients and peritoneal dialysis patients, making it a unique and challenging opportunity for a skilled nurse.
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and effective patient care, utilizing your knowledge and skills to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of unit-based policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing
- Less than 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse, registered to practice in Maryland
- American Heart Association CPR Certification
