The Role

The Lead Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting our Process Chemicals division and its subsidiaries.

Our finance team operates on a hybrid work model, allowing for flexibility with remote work options.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Oversee monthly closing processes and consolidate financial data for the Process Chemicals division and its subsidiaries, ensuring accurate reporting of actual results, forecasts, and estimates.

2. Conduct thorough analyses of financial results and input data into the corporate financial system. Prepare consolidated reports for management reviews and submissions to corporate accounting.

3. Maintain and update accounting master data within the ERP system (SAP).

4. Generate necessary reports for finance and tax compliance as required by corporate standards.

5. Compile information and prepare government compliance reports.

6. Assist with external, internal, and J-Sox audits, implementing corrective actions for any identified deficiencies.

7. Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries based on comprehensive analyses.

8. Provide financial insights and support to business management regarding operations in European and Asian subsidiaries, facilitating transactions related to pricing and invoicing.

9. Undertake various projects as assigned by the Accounting Services Manager to support business objectives.


Requirements

Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required, with an MBA, CMA, or CPA preferred.

5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing context is essential.

Strong communication skills and the ability to foster relationships within a team and across departments are crucial. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing environments.

Proficiency in Advanced Accounting Principles, Excel, and SAP is required.

This position is safety-sensitive and candidates must successfully complete a post-offer drug screening prior to employment.

Maintaining a constant state of alertness and ensuring safety in the workplace is a fundamental job function.
