Job Summary

Georgia Crown is seeking a highly detail-oriented Loss Prevention Clerk to join our team in McDonough, Georgia. As a Loss Prevention Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough reviews of video footage to identify and investigate overages, shortages, and breakage during loading and returns processes.
  • Collaborate with the inventory control team to research and resolve shrinkage issues, including mispicks and breakage.
  • Accurately document and distribute video review logs to ensure seamless communication and tracking.
  • Assist with the monthly inventory process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Review loading discrepancies with drivers and supervisors to resolve issues promptly.
  • Perform video reviews within a 48-hour period of receiving over/short reports to ensure timely resolution.
  • Support management in reviewing video footage as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by upper management to ensure the success of the team.
Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed, with approval from a supervisor.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Must possess basic mathematical and computer skills.
  • Must be familiar with order pulling and stocking procedures.
  • Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Must have good decision-making abilities.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must have knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
  • Must be able to pass background checks, including police backgrounds and reference checks.
