We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to serve as a Reading Tutor with our organization, Ampact. As a tutor, you will play a pivotal role in empowering kindergarten through third-grade students to become confident and proficient readers.

About the Role

As a Reading Tutor, your primary responsibility will be to provide one-on-one or paired guidance to students who require additional support in reading at their grade level. With comprehensive training and on-site coaching, you will be equipped to make a meaningful impact on the lives of these young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tailored reading plans for each student, taking into account their unique needs and learning style.
• Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to ensure seamless integration of tutoring services within the classroom environment.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents/guardians.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in data software.
