Driver Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and hard-working Driver to join our team at Dakota Premium Hardwoods. The ideal candidate will have a friendly disposition towards customers and coworkers, a solid work ethic, and a team-first attitude.

The primary responsibilities of this role include making shop deliveries and job-site deliveries of plywood and lumber materials. The successful candidate will have experience with manual transmissions, knowledge of strapping loads, and the ability to unload trucks. A valid, unencumbered CDL driver's license is required, as well as a clean driving record.

Work hours are Monday through Friday, with the opportunity to go home every night. Salary is commensurate with experience, and overtime and bonus opportunities are available. Benefits include health, dental, vision, supplemental benefits, company-paid life insurance, and long-term disability. Eligibility for 401k begins on the first day of employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make shop deliveries and job-site deliveries of plywood and lumber materials
  • Unload trucks and assist with strapping loads
  • Have a valid, unencumbered CDL driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Work Monday through Friday with the opportunity to go home every night
