Position Overview:

Under the supervision of the Assistant Director, this role entails the following responsibilities:

1. Manages correspondence and addresses inquiries through the thentia portal, email, phone, and/or in person regarding the licensing and application renewal procedures, as well as the review of clinical supervisor education.

2. Evaluates, audits, and makes determinations concerning the license renewal process, continuing education submissions, and clinical supervisor education reviews.

Key Responsibilities:


• Provides assistance to applicants regarding the licensing process through various communication channels.


• Assesses license renewal applications for compliance with regulations and statutory requirements, including conducting audits.


• Reviews educational training for clinical supervisors to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.


• Performs additional duties as assigned that are pertinent to the role.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge:


• Familiarity with Arizona revised statutes, administrative codes, and regulatory procedures.


• Understanding of confidentiality issues related to public information.


• Awareness of licensure application processes.

• Proficient computer skills for utilizing complex databases, word processing, and spreadsheet applications.
