Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Stretch Therapist to join our team at Life Time Fitness. As a Stretch Therapist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality assisted stretching and recovery sessions to our members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement safe and effective stretching programs for clients of all fitness levels.
  • Lead clients through assisted stretching sessions using techniques such as PNF and contract-relax stretching.
  • Provide recovery sessions using techniques like assisted stretching, hypervolt percussion, and breathing drills.
  • Conduct stretch and recovery demos for new clients, including pre-participation screening and goal setting.
  • Assist members on the fitness floor to ensure safety and provide education and motivation.
  • Promote and sell stretch session programs and other personal training services.
  • Complete administrative requirements associated with each client's fitness plan.
  • Stay current on certifications and new trends in the industry.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certified Personal Trainer.
  • CPR and AED Certified.
  • Knowledge of assisted stretching and other recovery techniques.
  • Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and be able to bend, stand, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Requirements

  • At least 1 year of personal training experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, or other related field.
  • Assisted Stretching Certification (AIS, FST, or similar).
