Optometrist Position

iRefract, a rapidly expanding network of optometry offices, is seeking a skilled and compassionate licensed optometrist to fill a full-time position in our Spartanburg, South Carolina location.

This is a unique opportunity to practice independently as part of a multi-location vision group, with a well-established and fully staffed clinic due to the upcoming retirement of our current provider.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive eye exams
• Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease
• Prescribe corrective lenses
• Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients
• Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients
• Maintain detailed patient records regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress
• Handle eye care emergencies

Requirements:

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree
• Valid SC state license to practice optometry
• Patient-care and customer-service oriented
