Main Responsibilities- Facility Maintenance and Operations: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
- Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems, including air handling units, compressed air systems, and cooling towers.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are properly documented and that all relevant SOPs and operating parameters are followed.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with facilities, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, and at least 5 years of experience in a facility maintenance role, preferably in a medical device manufacturing facility.
- Skills and Qualifications: Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, including preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, and reliability-centered maintenance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
The work environment is moderate, with moderate noise levels and the ability to work in a confined area. The physical demands of the job include standing, sitting, talking, hearing, and using hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard. Specific vision abilities required include close vision requirements due to computer work. Light to moderate lifting is required.
Travel and Special RequirementsDuring the workday, as well as local, out-of-state, and/or international travel may be required to perform job duties. The ability to work holidays and weekends, as well as off hours, is also required.
