Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Imaging Operations to lead our Ambulatory Imaging Department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for directing all imaging and nuclear medicine activities at assigned campuses and associated ambulatory medical buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct all Imaging and Nuclear Medicine Operations at assigned campuses and ambulatory locations.
  • Accountable for day-to-day operations for Department of Radiology services, including staffing models, hours of operation, and study protocols to maximize efficiency and throughput.
  • Plans and directs all aspects of operations consistent with strategic and operational planning, financial management, and business development and growth initiatives.
  • Oversees practice management, including HR management, performance improvements, compliance, revenue management, client satisfaction, Culture of Safety, efficient operations, overall profitability, and create a high-performing team environment.
  • Responsible to meet or exceed volume and financial targets, accountable for department expense, operating budgets, capital budget recommendations, and requests.
  • Collaborates with all Imaging Directors and Medical staff, as well as Administrative leaders, to foster integration across Corewell Health.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • 7 years of relevant experience in healthcare.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in leadership.
  • Technical experience in radiology.
  • Specific knowledge of governing agency's laws and policies, including CMS, Joint Commission, ACR, MQSA in regards to Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Services.
  • Clinical knowledge of Imaging procedures and protocols.
Work Environment

This role is based at Royal Oak Hospital, with opportunities to work across multiple campuses and ambulatory locations.
