  • Supervise and train inmate trustees in food service operations, including kitchen equipment operation, food production, and presentation.
  • Ensure high sanitation standards are maintained in the kitchen.
  • Stand for long periods of time (approximately 80% of the time).

Requirements:

  • Experience in institutional or commercial food service, with correctional food service experience preferred.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Pass a thorough background check (felonies are an automatic disqualification).

  • Starting pay rate/salary: $15.50/hour.
