Program Overview

Our 12-month residency program is designed for graduating nursing students who are eager to launch their careers in a premier healthcare system. Through this program, you will gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship and guidance, and develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed as a Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver High-Quality Patient Care
    • Utilize evidence-based research and best practices to provide individualized patient care
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams
    • Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
    • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and care planning to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Develop Essential Skills
    • Master medication administration and documentation using the latest technologies
    • Develop strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Emphasize Patient-Centered Care
    • Provide patient and family education to promote health, wellness, and disease management
    • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient

Requirements

  • Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license
  • BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association
  • Less than six (6) months of nursing experience
