Program Overview
Our 12-month residency program is designed for graduating nursing students who are eager to launch their careers in a premier healthcare system. Through this program, you will gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship and guidance, and develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed as a Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver High-Quality Patient Care
- Utilize evidence-based research and best practices to provide individualized patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and care planning to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Develop Essential Skills
- Master medication administration and documentation using the latest technologies
- Develop strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues
- Emphasize Patient-Centered Care
- Provide patient and family education to promote health, wellness, and disease management
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
Requirements
- Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license
- BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association
- Less than six (6) months of nursing experience
