Job Title: ABA Counselor- Children's Residential

At Melmark, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate ABA Counselor to join our team of dedicated professionals. As an ABA Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing instruction and support to individuals with autism, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and acquired brain injury in a residential setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement individualized programs to promote intellectual, emotional, and social growth
  • Assist in developing and implementing effective behavior analytic interventions
  • Work with individuals who may exhibit aggressive and/or self-injurious behavior, requiring a high level of alertness and responsiveness
  • Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to ensure seamless care and support
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; minimum requirement of 50 college credits
  • Valid US driver's license and minimum age of 21 years old
  • Successful completion of employer-provided certification in CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, and Crisis Intervention
  • Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office
  • Strong teaching skills and ability to implement function-based interventions
  • Experience working with specialized populations, preferably in a residential setting
Work Schedule:

Sunday 7am-11pm, Monday-Wednesday 3pm-11pm or Sunday 7am-11pm; Monday, Tuesday, Friday 3p-11p

Compensation:
  • Starting rate: $18.00/hour (+) based on years of direct experience
  • Starting rate: $20.50/hour (+) based on years of direct relevant experience
