Medical Technologist Opportunity

The Medical Technologist will be part of a small CLIA lab team supporting a non-profit organization making a positive impact on patients' lives.

Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 9:30am-7pm and every other Friday 8:30am-5pm (no weekends or holidays)

Responsibilities

This certified Medical Technologist will perform Hematology and Flow Cytometry analysis on patient samples.
  • Process, examine, and test patient samples using a flow cytometer and hematology analyzer, and document test results according to GDP and GMP.
  • Perform data analysis of processed samples.
  • Manage Send-out tests, testing supplies, reagents, etc.
  • Check quality control and verify test method ranges for standards and references. Maintain / troubleshoot instrumentation.
  • Collaborate with and assist other laboratory team members as needed.
Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience at the Medical Technologist level
  • Florida state certified Medical Technologist (Medical Laboratory Technologist certification)
  • Experience with Flow Cytometry is highly preferred, but not required
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Ability to follow written procedures and work processes.
  • Proficient computer skills, communication skills, and customer service skills.
  • Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
