About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Service Center Manager to join our team at Valvoline Instant Oil Change. As a key member of our service center team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team of service advisors and technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Service Center Manager in the daily operation and oversight of the service center, ensuring exceptional customer service and a safe working environment.
  • Perform oil changes and additional car maintenance services, adhering to company standards and procedures.
  • Mentor, lead, and train the team to optimize their development and improve service center performance.
  • Support the Service Center Manager with inventory, labor management, and financial performance of the service center.
  • Deliver a positive first impression to each guest with a warm and friendly greeting, building trust and winning repeat, loyal customers.
Requirements
  • Six months of supervisory experience required, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Knowledge of cash handling, facility, and safety control policies and practices.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment and having full mobility.
