Job SummaryWe are seeking an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiologist to join our team at the Heart and Vascular Center. The ideal candidate will have clinical expertise in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities- Provide longitudinal care to patients with advanced heart failure and those who have undergone heart transplantation or left ventricular assist device (LVAD) implantation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients with cardiogenic shock and advanced heart failure.
- Participate in the development of a destination LVAD program and contribute to ongoing research initiatives focused on advanced heart failure.
- Engage in academic activities, including teaching, mentoring, and research, as part of an academic practice with approximately 40 full-time cardiologists.
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology
- Must obtain/maintain medical license in the state of New Hampshire
