About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team at Guidepost Montessori. As a Lead Toddler Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters independence, curiosity, and a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and implement lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each child
  • Cultivate a sense of community and respect among children, parents, and colleagues
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents to provide updates on their child's progress
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Experience working with children ages 0-3 in a group setting
  • Pursuing or has obtained a Montessori diploma
  • Familiarity with child-led philosophies such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori
