About the Role

This position focuses on providing exceptional medical and clinical support services to patients in the Operating Room environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the surgical team in delivering patient care throughout the perioperative experience.
  • Provide the appropriate instruments and maintain and organize operating room equipment.
  • Perform according to the policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives of the department and hospital.
  • Work cooperatively within the department and other services to create a system of quality healthcare.
Requirements
  • 12 months to less than 3 years of healthcare experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of aseptic technique and infection prevention practices.
  • Intermediate knowledge of anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, microbiology, and pharmacology.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, patients, physicians, vendors, and other departments within the hospital.
