Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bus Person to join our team at SCE Partners LLC. As a Bus Person, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room by clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables quickly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and reset tables in accordance with established procedures and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of all place settings, tabletops, seats, and surrounding areas.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by performing duties such as beverage and plate service as assigned.
  • Communicate effectively with the host/hostess for seating needs and any guest service requirements.
  • Perform various stock supply duties to maintain par levels of all equipment and dining supplies.
Working Conditions

The Bus Person will work in a fast-paced environment that is subject to varying levels of crowds, noise, and smoke, depending on customer volume. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate and understand directions, inspect and maintain areas for which they are responsible, and efficiently move around the dining room.

Requirements

The skills and abilities necessary for this position are typically acquired through two months of on-the-job training or related experience. The successful candidate will be able to lift racks of dishes and glasses weighing up to 50 pounds, move carts weighing up to 50 pounds, and work in a team environment.

Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities

In addition to the other duties described herein, each and every employee has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:

  • Attend required training sessions offered by the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux.
  • Perform duties in compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Take necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
  • Have knowledge of ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the employee's department.
  • Consult Internal Control Procedures and Policy Manuals for reporting illegal activity to Security or the appropriate levels of Management.
