Job Summary

Monroe Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist - Cardiology Specialist to join our team. As a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures. Your expertise in cardiology will be essential in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of CT scanning techniques and protocols
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during CT scans
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest CT scanning technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • State License as a CT Tech/X-ray tech
  • American Heart Association certifications (ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, IV Certification, Fire Card, MAB, Sonographer - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) Certificate, Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam, Color Blind Testing Online, Competency Exam, Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam, CA Harassment Prevention Training Certificate)
  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

  • Valid Picture ID (State Drivers License, Passport, or State ID Card)
  • American Heart Association only. ACLS required for: ACU, Cath Lab, CCU, DOU, ED/ER, ICU, L&D, OR, PACU, RT, SDS and Tele
  • American Heart Association only. ENPC is acceptable in lieu of PALS. Required for: ER, PACU, Cath Lab, RT, SDS & all Pediatric RNs
  • American Heart Association only. NALS is also acceptable. Required for: NICU, L&D and Postpartum
  • Aya Job Description - must be signed by the employee prior to start
  • Checklist - completed by QM NOT required for: Centinela Hospital Medical Center, Shasta Regional Medical Center
  • EMTALA Manual & Acknowledgement - employee must review and sign the acknowledgement prior to start
  • Traveler must review manual and complete quiz prior to start
  • NEVADA STATE MANDATED REQUIREMENT FOR ALL AYA CANDIDATES
  • Must have a Physical Exam within 12 months of start
  • Annual Physical/Physicians Statement - Attesting that traveler is capable of performing the essential job functions with no restrictions
