Key ResponsibilitiesThe primary function of a Support Specialist for Community Engagement is to assist individuals in developing and maintaining essential skills that enhance their daily living, domestic, adaptive, and social interaction capabilities.
- Provide personalized in-home and community-based support to individuals.
- Help individuals achieve various personal goals within their home and local community.
- Transport individuals to medical appointments, shopping, and recreational activities.
- Foster safe and supportive relationships.
- Document and submit accurate weekly progress reports.
- Complete necessary training tailored to the needs of individuals.
- Must demonstrate compassion and a commitment to the well-being of others.
- Minimum requirement of a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Willingness to adhere to established policies, standards, and regulations.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and current insurance.
- Must be open to undergoing background checks.
- Willingness to transport individuals in a personal vehicle throughout the community.
- Flexible availability is essential.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are required.
*Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour based on experience.
- Weekly pay schedule.
- Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Opportunity for personal and professional fulfillment in a rewarding role.
*$250 bonus available after 30 days of employment.
