Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Social Worker to join our team at the State of California. As a Clinical Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing mental health services to individuals in a correctional facility setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical social work services to inmates, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the mental health needs of inmates.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for inmates.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to promote mental health and well-being.
  • Document all interactions with inmates, including progress notes and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field.
  • Valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science.
  • Experience working in a correctional facility or similar setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
