Position Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Role Summary: As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing both in-process and finished goods to confirm they adhere to all relevant specifications, components, and protocols. Your duties will include executing audits on processes and products, inputting inspection results into the quality management database, and producing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for any products that do not meet compliance standards. Furthermore, you will develop Quality Control Plans (QCPs) for new projects and production cycles. This position demands a meticulous attention to detail and a strong dedication to upholding superior quality benchmarks.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in utilizing hand and measurement tools such as calipers, tape measures, and micrometers.
- Capability to interpret and comprehend Bills of Materials (BOMs), Process Specifications, Engineering Drawings, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Experience with PCB, cable, and box assembly processes.
- J-STD certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with IPC-610 and IPC-620 standards.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Ability to identify issues, gather data, establish facts, and derive valid conclusions.
Employment Type: This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity.
Work Environment: This role is fully on-site.
Work Setting: The position requires a detail-oriented and precise work ethic, emphasizing quality control and adherence to established standards. Frequent use of measurement tools and analysis of production components is essential to ensure all quality specifications are satisfied.
