Matrix Systems & Technologies is seeking a highly skilled WebSphere Application Server Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of WebSphere Application Server v8.5.5.x, as well as the development and maintenance of installation scripts using JACL, Maven, and shell scripts.
Key Responsibilities- Installation and Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain WebSphere Application Server v8.x as part of the MeF application.
- Script Development: Develop and maintain automated installation scripts using JACL, Maven, and shell scripts.
- Application Integration Testing: Perform application integration testing to ensure seamless interactions between MeF and other IRS systems.
- Documentation: Document software design and code to ensure maintainability and scalability.
- WebSphere Application Server Administration and Development: 6 years of experience in administering and developing WebSphere Application Server v8.x.
- JBoss and Apache Administration: 4 years of experience in administering JBoss and Apache.
- Script Development: 4 years of experience in developing scripts using JACL, Maven, shell, and Python.
- Redhat Ansible Playbook Development: 2 years of experience in developing Redhat Ansible playbooks.
- WebSphere MQ: Experience with WebSphere MQ.
- AWS, Redhat OpenShift, Dockers, and Kubernetes: Experience with AWS, Redhat OpenShift, Dockers, and Kubernetes.
- IBM EWM for Source Code and Defect Management: Experience with IBM EWM for source code and defect management.
- Java Development: Experience with Java development.
