We are currently in search of a Validation Engineer for a prominent multinational corporation.

Position: Validation Engineer

Location: San Jose, CA

Employment Type: Long Term Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting validation of PMA (or PHY) blocks in transceiver systems
  • Creating automated testing scripts and scenarios
  • Executing automation scripts or compliance test suites
  • Analyzing and reporting on test outcomes

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or
  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields with at least 3 years of relevant experience

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in using high-speed oscilloscopes, BERTs, VNAs, and related laboratory equipment for SERDES characterization
  • Experienced in Python programming and automation methodologies
  • A collaborative team member with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with C++ or FPGA design is advantageous
  • Understanding of board design principles or experience in Signal Integrity is a plus
