We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as an Infusion Specialist at the University of Miami. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to patients undergoing infusion therapy.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments to patients, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Education and Training: Provide education and training to patients and families on infusion therapy, medication management, and self-care techniques.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize care processes.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred.
- Certification and Licensing: Valid Florida Registered Nurse License, ACLS, BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
- Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes: Excellent patient experience skills, ability to recognize, analyze, and solve problems, and ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
