Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol campus buildings and grounds to prevent and respond to incidents
  • Enforce laws and regulations, including traffic laws and parking regulations
  • Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, property damage, and other incidents
  • Make arrests and appear in court as required
  • Provide first aid and emergency response services as needed
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and university departments to ensure a safe and secure environment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of a P.O.S.T. certified training program
  • Valid California driver's license
  • Ability to pass a background check and polygraph examination
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions in emergency situations
Preferred Qualifications
  • 60 college semester units or equivalent
  • POST Basic Certificate of higher
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese
