About the Position:

This is a 12-week, Full-Time assignment as a Registered Nurse in the Behavioral Health department at Northwest Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.

About the Unit:

This position functions primarily in the psychiatric acute inpatient space of the hospital, assisting patients who are experiencing an immediate mental health crisis and require acute stabilization and treatment. The successful candidate will evaluate assigned patients, plan, implement, and document nursing care, assist physicians during examinations and procedures, and perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
