We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Advisor to join our team at Allworth Financial. As a Senior Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing tax services to clients, including federal, state, and local income tax preparation, tax projections, and analysis.

This is a full-time, exempt role based out of Addison, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax planning and compliance, with a minimum of 4 years of individual tax preparation experience.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively with clients, advisors, and tax authorities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and reviewing individual income tax returns
  • Reviewing situations and transactions to determine federal, state, and local filing requirements
  • Analyzing and responding to IRS, state, and local tax agency notices
  • Participating in tax strategy discussions with clients and collaborating with their financial advisors
  • Identifying and resolving client tax-related questions and issues
