Rehabilitation Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Rehab America, where you will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from injuries or disabilities. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with patients and their families to develop personalized care plans that meet their unique needs and goals.
- Administer various physical therapeutic treatments, including modality treatments, therapeutic exercises, hydrotherapy, gait training, and wound dressing, as directed by the Physical Therapist.
- Record patient progress and reactions to treatment in their medical records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Provide technical direction and guidance to Physical Therapy Assistant students, technicians, and attendants in performing patient care activities.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a PTA is preferred.
- An Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program is required.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of employment is mandatory.
- CPR certification and current auto liability insurance according to Company Policy are also required.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000, depending on location and experience.
