Position Overview:

As an Agile Team Facilitator at Seven Seven Software, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our teams towards achieving their objectives through effective Scrum practices. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing team performance and ensuring alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and lead essential team ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Mentor and assist the Product Owner in efficiently managing the product backlog to maximize value delivery.
  • Protect the team from external distractions and interruptions, allowing them to focus on their work.
  • Identify and manage risks, escalate obstacles, and facilitate their resolution to maintain team momentum.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the team's goals and the roles of each member to effectively coordinate inter-team dependencies.
  • Drive the team towards high performance by identifying strengths and areas for improvement, applying suitable coaching and development strategies.
  • Represent the team in Scrum-of-Scrum meetings, collaborating with the Release Train Engineer (RTE) and other Scrum Masters to ensure cohesive execution across the program.
  • Engage in Scrum Master Communities of Practice (CoP) to share insights and learnings, contributing to the continuous improvement of team dynamics and performance.
  • Work closely with the Financial Management Team to maintain updated and consolidated team information using Power BI.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Scrum Master role or a similar capacity.
  • Proficient in story writing, estimation, refinement, and related techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders, embodying a "servant leader" approach.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, mentoring, and facilitation skills.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with a proactive attitude.
  • Assertive and adaptable, capable of thriving in a dynamic environment and acting as a change agent for the team.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar analytical tools is highly desirable.
  • Scrum Master certification is a plus.
