AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is a leading provider of after-school programs that foster a love of learning and a sense of wonder in children. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Site Director to lead our team and deliver exceptional experiences for our students.

Job Summary

The Site Director will be responsible for leading a team of Guides to deliver engaging and interactive programs in fitness, arts, technology, and more. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Guides to deliver high-quality programs that meet the needs of our students
  • Work collaboratively with peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site
  • Train Guides on how to lead adventurous tasks that ignite children's sense of wonder
  • Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by establishing clubs that build on students' interests and talents
  • Provide a caring and supportive environment for children, parents, and staff
Requirements
  • 21+ years old and a bachelor's degree or associates degree in a child-related field such as elementary education, child psychology, or recreation management
  • Flexible and demonstrates a passion to work with children in a learning environment
  • Provides a supportive and caring environment for children
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner with children, parents, staff, and other management
  • Ability to successfully pass and maintain criminal history background checks and Child Protective Services Registry
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Well-organized, thorough, and highly reliable/dependable
  • Ability to remain calm and maintain a high-level of professionalism and personal work ethics/integrity at all times
  • Basic Microsoft Office experience preferred
  • Direct instructional experience in a licensed childcare program, an elementary public or charter school, Department of Health licensed camp, or an approved private educational organizational system
