Job Overview

A Speech Language Pathologist Assistant is sought after to join a school district. This is a full-time position with a caseload that will be discussed during the interview. Onsite work during the school year is expected.

Estimated Salary Range

$55,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This role involves providing speech and language services to students with communication disorders, evaluating and diagnosing these disorders, and developing treatment plans. The ideal candidate will have a valid Pennsylvania State SLP License and a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to diagnose communication disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and assessments
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and parents, to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions
  • Attend meetings and provide reports on student progress
Requirements
  • A valid Pennsylvania State SLP License is required
  • Prior school-based experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
