Job Summary

The Christ Hospital Cardiovascular Associates is seeking a skilled CT Scanner Operator to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to obtain diagnostic images of specified body parts. You will work independently with minimal supervision, producing high-quality images to present to radiologists for interpretation.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients, verify their identity, and take pertinent patient history

• Explain procedures to patients, answer questions, and ensure understanding

• Position patients, scan, and archive procedures according to established protocols

• Utilize proper venipuncture techniques, administer contrast media, and document procedures

• Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, isolation and sterile techniques, and patient positioning

• Collaborate with co-workers, physicians, and other departments to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• Graduation from an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology school

• Minimum 2 years of related experience preferred

• Board certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

• Active, valid Ohio license as a Radiographer

• CPR certification preferred
