As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping patients/residents/clients achieve their physical therapy goals. Under the supervision of a physical therapist, you will assist with therapy activities and exercises, providing a supportive and caring environment for those in need.
Responsibilities- Assist patients/residents/clients with therapy activities and exercises as scheduled in a treatment plan.
- Monitor and record therapy services provided to patients/residents/clients.
- Communicate with physical therapists to exchange information and provide documentation about patient/resident/client responses to interventions.
- Contribute to the development of patient/resident/client targeted physical therapy outcomes.
- Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
- Graduate of an approved American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) program as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state(s) of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment.
