Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome every customer with warmth and a friendly demeanor.
  • Achieve personal sales targets by adhering to SCHEELS' professional sales standards, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
  • Promote the SCHEELS Visa Rewards card, clearly articulating its benefits.
  • Engage customers in meaningful conversations to assist them in their purchasing decisions.
  • Showcase a genuine enthusiasm for the products available in our store.
  • Participate in all product training sessions and store meetings.
  • Maintain a polished and professional appearance while on the sales floor.
  • Assist with various assigned tasks as needed.
  • Demonstrate basic math skills to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
  • Read and understand simple instructions and correspondence.
  • Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Be willing to assist with inventory and stocking tasks when required.
  • Demonstrate product usage and retrieve items from heights exceeding 6 feet.

Work Schedule:

Flexibility is essential, with part-time hours available between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays. Availability for at least two weekends each month is required, with an average of 15-25 hours per week.

  • Education: A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with 1-3 months of sales experience.

Physical Requirements:

Must be capable of performing various physical activities, including sitting, standing, bending, climbing, and lifting. Heavy lifting may be required, with the ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally.
