Speech-Language Pathologist Job Description

At AnthroMed Education, we are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in supporting the communication needs of students in our schools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide speech and language services to students with impairments related to language, voice, fluency, or articulation disorders.
  • Collaborate with other special and general education staff to provide prevention-oriented, curricular activities, screening for communication disorders, evaluation of students for special education, direct service to students, and instruction for parents in techniques of home training.
  • Work with students, families, and colleagues to develop and implement effective communication strategies.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Michigan state license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience working with school-aged children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and colleagues.
