POSITION PURPOSE/SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Retail Sales Associate at Deckers Brands is responsible for delivering an exceptional shopping experience for customers, utilizing extensive product knowledge and engaging with the store environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Experience:
Welcome all customers warmly as they enter the store.
Guide customers throughout the store or to the specific area they inquire about. Identify the unique needs of each customer.

Provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding products for all inquiries; if the necessary information is unavailable, strive to find an answer before the customer departs.

Clearly communicate the return policy.
Maintain a positive demeanor and collaborate effectively with team members.
Apply these standards to all phone inquiries.

Merchandising and Maintenance:
Monitor stock levels daily to ensure that all products are sufficiently available for customers.
All merchandise must be organized from smallest to largest as per the Visual Standards guidelines.
Featured products should be prominently displayed in each section.
Uphold store image by adhering to the dress code outlined in the Policy & Procedures documentation.
Keep a clean and orderly back-stock area.
Perform daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping floors, and emptying trash as needed.
Ensure the employee break area is clean each day.

Operations:
Arrive at work punctually or inform in advance if unable to attend or running late.

Operate the cash register accurately; it is essential for each employee to handle transactions without errors and maintain precision in money management.

Implement security measures to deter theft; understand procedures for addressing shoplifting incidents.
Maintain a safety-conscious approach at all times.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage challenging situations professionally
Effective problem-solving skills

Salary Range:
$21.00


The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role at this specific store location.
