The Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team and lead the development of our next-generation trading platform. As an SRE, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and deploying cloud-based, streaming microservices at scale, and collaborating with our team to establish SRE best practices and procedures.

You'll work closely with our team to ensure exceptional software engineering practices, quality, and good documentation. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of developers to define and implement SRE best practices
  • Build a culture of automation, identifying manual tasks and creating robust and innovative solutions to remove toil
  • Integrate and operate observability products that support compliance requirements and enable the team to better understand the state of their services and apps in production
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance around containerization of applications and DevOps best practices
  • Perform analytics on previous incidents to better predict issues and take proactive actions
  • Develop, monitor, and alert on SLIs/SLOs
  • Grow our agile development culture through use of excellent engineering skills and a deep knowledge of DevOps methodologies
  • Own the regular reviews of systems performance metrics with the stakeholders
  • Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community
  • Socialize SRE culture across teams in the organization
  • Build and maintain CI / CD pipelines for applications and products
  • Author Release / Deployment Plans and Rollback procedures
  • Develop and scale engineering best practices across the organization through automation, auditability, automated testing, infrastructure and policy as code
  • Establishing cross-training initiatives to provide enhanced automated support capabilities
What We're Looking for

We're looking for a highly experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer with a strong background in cloud and SRE to DevOps roles. You should have at least 5 years of experience in cloud and SRE to DevOps roles, with 2+ years minimum of software development experience. You should also have 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, deploying, and automating infrastructure & platform services in Public Clouds (AWS, GCP, and Azure) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

We offer a competitive salary range of $175,000 USD to $230,000 USD, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision programs, as well as a 401(k) plan with a dollar-for-dollar employer match up to $17,500.
