Job Description:

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Diesel Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a respected technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs of all levels on our newest and best-maintained fleet of vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance and possess a strong understanding of engine repair, transmission diagnosis, and differential troubleshooting.

This role requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and repair of heavy-duty equipment
  • Troubleshooting complex mechanical issues
  • Performing road tests to diagnose problems
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of experience in diesel equipment repair
  • A.S.E. certification preferred
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
