Role Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the upkeep of the community, ensuring thorough inspections, repairs, and general maintenance of available apartments and shared spaces.
  • Lead the maintenance team, assigning tasks and monitoring their performance.
  • Install and repair electrical systems and components associated with industrial machinery.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare apartments for new residents, ensuring they are market-ready.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and keep detailed records of findings.
  • Perform regular inspections of the community.
  • Address resident service requests in a timely manner.
  • Participate in emergency on-call services.
  • Maintain the grounds and communal areas.
  • Monitor mechanical systems within the community.

Administrative and Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Train and oversee maintenance personnel.
  • Assist in tracking capital improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to safe work practices among staff.
  • Comply with Fair Housing regulations.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Property Manager.
  • Represent DASMEN Residential in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of maintenance experience is required.
  • Supervisory experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to lift heavy equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
  • EPA or CFC certification.
  • Proficient in report writing and effective speaking.

Certifications and Licenses:

  • HVAC certification, CAMT license.
