Job Title: Night Baker

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Night Baker to join our Bakery team at Giant Eagle Inc. As a Night Baker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our Bakery products are of the highest quality and meet the expectations of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake a variety of Bakery products, including bread, pastries, and desserts, according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Perform bench work, including mixing, kneading, and proofing dough, to ensure consistency and quality of products.
  • Operate Bakery equipment, including ovens, mixers, and proofers, to produce high-quality products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Collaborate with other Bakery team members to ensure efficient production and meet customer demands.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • 6 to 12 months of experience in a Bakery or related industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
