Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling customer complaints, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service and handle customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner
  • Utilize suggestive selling techniques to drive sales and maintain excellent customer rapport
  • Process all sales on the cash register accurately and efficiently, handle cash and other forms of payment, and follow cash handling procedures to prevent loss
  • Perform cleaning duties necessary to maintain a clean and organized store environment, including basic upkeep and/or cleaning of all equipment
  • Maintain proper inventory levels and shift closeouts
  • Perform duties with minimal supervision and may be required to work irregular hours
  • Notify store management of any observed dishonesty by customers, vendors, or other store employees, and follow company policy for confronting shoplifters
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in retail sales and customer service is preferred
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 60 lbs. from ground to waist level as needed
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
