Woodworking Decor Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Woodworking Decor Technician to join our team at QPS Employment Group. As a Woodworking Decor Technician, you will be responsible for building finished products from scratch or using pre-cut parts, following shop drawings and established procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build finished products from scratch or using pre-cut parts, following shop drawings and established procedures.
  • Cut, fabricate, and prepare raw materials for use in various projects.
  • Utilize table saws, nailers, routers, drills, glue sprayers, and cut-off saws to execute project requirements.
  • Sand and prep surfaces to ensure they are ready for painting or staining.
  • Apply laminates in accordance with procedural specifications and project requirements.
  • Complete and maintain all necessary paperwork, records, and documentation related to projects.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and work rules while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
  • Must have the desire to learn new tasks or skills.
  • Must be able to operate various hand/power tools/machines, such as table saws, cut-off saws, sanders, air tools, routers, drills.
  • Must have the ability to read a tape measure.
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
