Job Summary

The Lexima Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Night Auditor to provide exceptional guest service and ensure the smooth operation of the front office during the overnight shift. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling guest check-ins and check-outs, managing front office functions, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Service
    • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and courteous manner, ensuring a positive first impression of the hotel.
    • Handle guest inquiries and provide information on hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
    • Respond to guest requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Front Office Operations
    • Manage the front desk during the overnight shift, ensuring that all guest needs are met and that the front office is running smoothly.
    • Process guest check-ins and check-outs, including handling payments and issuing room keys.
    • Prepare and distribute reports, including the night audit report and other relevant documents.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Perform administrative tasks, such as balancing the cash drawer, reconciling guest accounts, and maintaining accurate records.
    • Assist with special projects and initiatives, as needed.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Previous hospitality experience preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Working Conditions

The Night Auditor will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, with frequent interactions with guests and colleagues. The ability to work in a team-oriented environment and to adapt to changing circumstances is essential.
