Your Role:
As a Scheduling Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations within our healthcare system. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and managing patient appointments efficiently in a high-volume setting.
- Maintaining accurate electronic medical records and ensuring all scheduling instructions are correctly entered.
- Providing support for patient consultations, evaluations, and follow-up appointments.
- Assisting in the collection of patient information necessary for reporting.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure effective scheduling of outside referrals.
Key Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in substance abuse or mental health settings.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
