CT Technologist Job Description

As a CT Technologist at Providence Health & Service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients. Under the direction of a radiologist, you will perform radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiographic procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and immobilization
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R))
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist in Computed Tomography (R.T.(CT))
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
