Job Summary

SSM Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at St. Anthony Hospital - Shawnee. As a key member of our Imaging and CT department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of imaging exams, including computed tomography (CT) scans, to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
  • Position patients accurately and select anatomic and technical parameters to ensure high-quality images.
  • Implement radiation protection and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist physicians in special and advanced procedures, and prepare and administer contrast media and medications as needed.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department.
Requirements
  • Completion of a radiology program.
  • No experience required, but certification in computed tomography (CT) within 12 months of hire is preferred.
